What is the Eco-Score?
A score from 0 to 100 that shows how ecological your garden is. Not a vague feeling, but a measurement across five criteria.
One number for what your garden does for nature
Every plant, biotope and structure in your garden earns points. Gardiflora adds them up into a score between 0 and 100, so you see at a glance how ecological your garden stands today. The more complete your garden is in Gardiflora, the more accurate the score.

Five criteria, one score
We measure five things, each with its own score from 0 to 100. Your garden type sets the weighting: a balcony leans on pollination, a large garden has more room for habitat.
Pollination
Which plants feed bees and butterflies.
Habitat & Shelter
What shelter your garden offers.
Biodiversity
How many native species you have.
Soil health
Which plants feed the soil.
Ecological risks
Whether invasive species are present.
From Bare Patch to Garden of Eden
Your overall score lands in one of six nature tiers. Each tier shows where your garden stands today, and the bands are not evenly spaced: the top one asks for a lot more than the first.
